The origin of the name “EMP Handyman” is closely tied to my family. It is derived from the initials of my wife’s name, which also represent the first letters of our three daughters’ names. My name is Chris Parks, and I have dedicated almost 30 years to working in the trades. 

Throughout my career, I have been involved in various facets of home construction. I have had the opportunity to build houses from the ground up, manage multi-million dollar projects, and undertake the construction and renovation of three assisted living facilities. 

These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set that covers almost every aspect of home construction, from the foundation to the roof and nearly everything in between.

My true passion lies in helping individuals solve their problems. I find joy in the process of identifying solutions and the sense of fulfillment that comes with completing a project. There’s a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment that comes with looking at a finished project and being able to say, “I did that!” This feeling never ceases to inspire and motivate me. 

In my endeavors, I am supported by my wife, Emily, who plays a vital role in keeping things organized and providing an extra pair of hands when needed on site.
